The enslaved class of the galaxy, comprised exclusively of full-blooded Aekosi and biracial Aekosi. Colloquially referred to as the shadows, Subjugates are legally bound to servitude, stripped of all rights, and controlled via COLD chips implanted in the base of the neck. Though the enslavement of other races is technically illegal, such violations are common—and rarely punished. All Subjugates bear black scannable neck tattoos, applied through scarification rather than ink due to the Aekosi’s regenerative biology. These marks serve both as branding and control, ensuring their place at the bottom of society’s brutal hierarchy.
