Civica-Class ICICLE Chips
Citizens in the middle class are implanted with a version that emphasizes compliance through emotional suppression, social tracking, and behavior inhibition. The “C” here stands for Communication, granting them access to a limited NeuroLink—useful for work, financial transactions, and basic messaging, though heavily monitored. Gritfolk-Class ICICLE Chips
For those born into the lowest free class, the chip is far more punishing. The “C” stands for Compliance, and this version delivers aggressive neurological control.
